Equine Assisted Services (EAS) at Whispering Manes
The Equine-Assisted Services (EAS) at Whispering Manes offer individuals with physical, emotional, or cognitive disabilities the opportunity to build strength, balance, and coordination in an engaging, outdoor environment. As participants learn to work with horses, they often gain confidence, independence, and a stronger sense of self.
Many participants develop a meaningful bond with their horse—one rooted in trust, communication, and mutual respect. This unique connection can open the door to growth in cognitive, behavioral, social, and communication skills. For many students, EAS becomes a powerful pathway to personal development and overall well-being.
We do not have mental health therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, or speech language pathologists on staff, and we do NOT offer equine-assisted psychotherapy (EAP) or hippotherapy. We are happy to work with your therapist or refer you to therapists who offer these services. Please click here to contact us for additional information about our programs.
