In the spring of 2015, Whispering Manes Therapeutic Riding Center moved into its permanent home—a beautiful 5‑acre property in the heart of Miami‑Dade’s Horse Country. This land, along with a brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art facility featuring a 12‑stall barn, covered riding arena, and six paddocks, was generously donated by local philanthropist and children’s advocate Nancy Hector.
This purpose‑built facility strengthens our ability to fulfill our mission of providing equine‑assisted activities to individuals with disabilities throughout the Miami‑Dade community. Set back from the road, the property offers a peaceful, private environment shaded by mature oak and banyan trees. The serene atmosphere creates an ideal setting for participants to connect with our horses and benefit from therapeutic programs.
Our central location also allows us to serve families who might otherwise lack access to equine‑assisted services, ensuring that more individuals can experience the life‑changing impact of our programs.
